Twangoleum

Here I am in 1969, playing a Twangoleum, and here is its story.

Unfortunately, despite its fine tone, when you play up the neck as far as this photo, you bash the unpadded back of your hand on that alligator tail and it hurts. Both Andy Cohen Blues Player and Rick Ruskin played with a wrapped thumb so they could get around it well. The tone is as clear and precise as a jazz guitar. It really enunciates. You can hear every note.
